We had our duty at Gaoat General Hospital (Brgy. 11 Ben-Agan, Batac City, Ilocos Norte) owned and managed by Dr. Policarpio Gaoat. in deed, it is also a great experience for us - Group 2.  we had 3 cases as follows:

• Minor Scrub (Episiotomy)
• Assisted Delivery (Normal Spontaneous Delivery/NSD)
• Cord Dressing

Hospitals at Marcos, Ilocos Norte

Actually, there are two Hospitals in Marcos, Ilocos Norte.

1. Marcos District Hospital (Public)

1. Sta. Teresita Hospital, Incorporated (STHI) -
2. is owned and managed by Dr. Clyde "Pogi" Garcia and His Wife Dr. Teresita Garcia.  This is a private Hospital and Clinic located at the vicinity of Fortuna, Marcos, Ilocos Norte just along the National Highway going to Banna, Ilocos Norte - the next municipality of Ilocos Norte.

RED CROSS - Ilocos Norte Chapter

Last day of training and workshop in basic life support and first aid. This day, we did bandaging. Around 6 pm, we undergone an actual scenario: emergency rescuing, first aiding, and bandaging the victims. The rain pours so heavily so no pictures saved during the actual scene. A lot of thanks to RED CROSS Ilocos Norte for this wonderful experience.

we had our demonstration practice in administering ID (IntraDermal) medication.  some made it perfect, some are midway to perfect, some are still cannot control their hands and still have intensities.  thanks to my partner because he just shoot me once.  and also, thanks to everyone, most especially to my mentors because i can still remember how the procedures goes on.
future fellow nurses, good luck for tomorrows activity :P

CASE day

Today, they checked our cases.. hay.. kapagod na kaboring sa skul.walang magawa. RLE sa school in 2 weeks..wala pa duty and rotations sa Hospitals.  we had our exam in computations pa kanina.. sino kaya nakaperfect nun? yung ganung exam??? haha.. i think wala :)

in a street accident, a woman tried to help the victim but suddenly a NURSE came in and said,

"Miss, excuse me! Please step back! I've had a course in First Aid and I'm trained in giving CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)

then the woman stepped aside and watched the procedure and said,

"If you need a DOCTOR, im just at your back"
